Last Thursday LFLF competed against Vassar and Cass City and placed in first with a season high of 143.1. 

Apryl Smith led the team on vault with a 9.1 followed by Lauren Hayden’s 9.0, Natasha Dudin’s 8.95 and Maty Temrowski’s 8.925. 

On bars Apryl Smith had the highest team score with a 9.0 followed Lauren Hayden with an 8.7 and Maty Temrowski with an 8.25. All three of these gymnasts earned a career high score. Natasha Dudin had the team’s last counting score. Avery Miller also earned a new career high of a 7.7. 

Maty Temrowski led the team on beam with a 9.6 followed by Avery Miller with a 9.15, both gymnasts earning a career high score. Lauren Hayden had the team’s next highest score and Natasha Dudin and Apryl Smith tied for the team’s final counting score. 

Lauren Hayden and Apryl Smith tied for the team’s highest floor score with a 9.45, earning Apryl Smith a new career high. Kynleigh Copeland had the next highest score with a 9.05 followed by Maty Temrowski with a 9.0. 

The team’s next competition is the Lakes Valley conference meet on Saturday March 6th. Wish them luck!
